In 2017; Act 539 was passed to allow children sentenced to adult prison for crimes committed before the age of 18; a second chance; but were on lifetime parole.
In 2019 we were able to get an act passed that allows transition from lifetime of parole to discharge with rights restored after 5 years.
Now we are once again focused on Amending Act 539 to Under 21!
